Who Are We?

VideoCam Services was a family business, operated by Rod and Gaelyne Gasson from our home in Reynella, South Australia. As of 10 August 2005, after 14 years in the business of electronic repairs, we have ceased trading.

Our website will stay up, with links to our other personal interests and hobbies.

In 1997, we published "The Internet for Commodore C64/128 Users", a 300 page manual that enjoys strong international sales on the Web. We've witnessed the benefits of having a presence on the Web and know others can use this advantage too.

Later in 1997, we began offering Web Design as a service based on Gaelyne's experience in designing and maintaining web sites.

In 1998, VideoCam Services added Web Hosting to their list of services.

Rod Gasson has had more than 20 years experience in the electronics field, and is fully qualified in Audio, RF, TV, VCR, Digital techniques, and Camcorder repairs.

Rod is also the author of two programs for the Commodore 128 computer and has hands-on experience in computer networking, setting up and maintaining the videocam.net.au and vcsweb.com domains, including Email and newsgroups.

Gaelyne Gasson is the author of The Internet for Commodore C64/128 Users, and has extensive experience in writing about and using the Internet.

Gaelyne is the Web Administrator of our system. She uses her creative, communication and writing talents to bring our site and those of our clients to life.
